“Working at KPMG is like working in a jungle”.
This sentence was made as a joke but eventually turned into the visual style for the animation.
The hardest part of subjects like visions and risk management is that they are hard to grasp and usually need a good example or metaphor. The jungle was a good starting point to build a strong visual story around it.
The storyboard was built to slowly guide the viewer through the jungle. We start surrounded by leaves and slowly see the buildings and elements as they are introduced to us. The whole concept was to go full circle, so that the later half was a mirror image of the first half. This put emphasis on the scale of all the elements that need to work together to make risk consulting work.
