Storyboarding

For my work I often make storyboards, sometimes on the fly in meetings to give an idea of a product, other times within a tight deadline (30-40 minutes).

My working-method entails first sitting down with the client, discussing needs and wants, and advising on what’s best left in and out of the animation. I then write the script and base the storyboard off of keywords within the script.

Below is an example of one of my storyboards as sketch, as vector-art and the finished animation.


Also, shown below is another storyboard, this time recorded in video. I usually make these as an extra briefing for animators.


Lastly, below is a gallery of some of my storyboards. Over my carreer I’ve made over 500 storyboards for hundreds of clients, so this is just a small selection.
